Enter through the narrow gate.  Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to eternal life and only a few will ever find it.   Matt 7:13-14

I am the gate.  If you enter through me, you will be saved.  I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.  I am the good shepherd.  The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.  John 10:7,9-11

My sheep listen to my voice.  I know them and they follow me.  I give them eternal life and they shall never perish.  No one can snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all and no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.  I and the Father are one.  John 10:27-30

The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life only to take it up again.  No one takes my life from me but I lay it down voluntarily.  I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again.  This command I received from my Father.  John 10:17-18

I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed.  But if it dies, it produces many seeds.  If you love your life, you will lose it but if you hate your life in this world, you will keep it for eternal life.  John 12:24-25
